That’s why the long-standing collaboration between us and the World Men’s and Women’s Handball Championships feels like such a natural and flourishing combination.
Here at Blåkläder, we always like to be seen in situations featuring our wonderful users – both men and women – and there’s not much that beats handball in general and the Handball World Championship in particular. 2025 MEN'S HANDBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
We are proud that Blåkläder Workwear is the official sponsor of the 2025 Men’s Handball World Championship. The strongest handball teams in the world will compete against each other – and Blåkläder will be there as a sponsor. The World Championship will take place from January 14 to February 2, 2025, in Norway, Denmark, and Croatia, with the final matches held in Oslo.

2023 WOMEN'S HANDBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Between November 29 and December 17, 2023, 32 national teams will compete in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark for their spots in the grand final.
BLÅKLÄDER CHALLENGE
To get the emotions going even more before the upcoming Women’s World Championships, we invited Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud from Norway, Marketa Jerabkova from the Czech Republic, Emma Lindqvist from Sweden, and Simone Petersen from Denmark come together and out their skills to the test in Blåkläder Challenge. The women compete in events that no handball referee in the world could judge fairly. See who won below.
BOUNCE
The Blåkläder Challenge starts off strong with handball glue and work gloves – a combination that may not sound like a winning one. In the first event of the year, Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist, or Simone Petersen compete to see who has the best bounce.
ENDURANCE
Our second Blåkläder Challenge. Roman rings without rings. Which of Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist, or Simone Petersen can hold on the longest?
PRECISION
Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist, or Simone Petersen usually try to miss the person in the goal. But in the third event of the Blåkläder Challenge, the goal is to hit the target.
SPEED
Handball players probably don’t appreciate pockets as much as craftsmen do. In the fourth Blåkläder Challenge, Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist, or Simone Petersen have to step out of their shorts and into ours.
TEAMWORK
Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist and Simone Petersen have probably seen more locker rooms than most of us. But when you can’t see, it’s nice to have teammates. The fifth event of the Blåkläder Challenge is all about teamwork.
TACTICS
The sixth and final event of the Blåkläder Challenge naturally determines which of Ingvild Kristiansen Bakkerud, Marketa Jerabkova, Emma Lindqvist, or Simone Petersen puts the final nail in the coffin.

TACTICAL CHALLENGE
Blåkläder Challenge is on! In the first of four competitions, the tactical skills of Lukas Sandell, Mikkel Hansen, Kristian Bjørnsen and Aron Pálmarsson are put to the test.
STAMINA CHALLENGE
In the second of four competitions of the Blåkläder Challenge, the Nordic teammates and future IHF Men’s World Championship opponents Lukas Sandell, Mikkel Hansen, Kristian Bjørnsen, and Aron Pálmarsson will settle the question of who is the most persistent.
PRECISION CHALLENGE
It’s time for the third part of the Blåkläder Challenge! Now, it will be decided which of Lukas Sandell (Sweden), Mikkel Hansen (Denmark), Kristian Bjørnsen (Norway) and Aron Pálmarsson (Iceland) has the best precision.
STRENGTH CHALLENGE
The conclusion is here! The final part of the Blåkläder Challenge is a straightforward one, because now it will be decided once and for all who among Lukas Sandell, Mikkel Hansen, Kristian Bjørnsen and Aron Pálmarsson shoot the hardest.
